- These are the three compilers for Quake 2 levels
- done by Geoffrey DeWan ( gdewan@prairienet.org )
-
- This zip includes:
- - gddqbsp2_103.zip
- - gddqrad3_102.zip
- - gddqvsi3_100.zip
-
- I have just zipped the original zipfiles themselves,
- leaving the contents intact. You will have to extract
- each one individually to use them.
-
- How to use them:
- 1) Extract each one into a directory of your choice.
-
- 2) Switch to "Quake2" in the QuArK Explorer. (4th menu
- item, last entry in the menu).
-
- 3) Under "options | Configuration" in the QuArK Explorer, set
- the directory path to point to the program for each section by
- going to the "directories" tab, and clicking on the entry in
- the right hand column (the actual filename).
- A button with "..." will appear on the right side of the window. "Browse"
- to the directory, and file that you want associated with the
- "QuArK looks for" entry. Reading the documentation for each program will
- tell you about command line options for each, and they are entered on the
- line directly below the filename entry.
-
- I claim no credits for these programs, and they are not part of the
- Official QuArK distribution. I have included them as a courtesy to
- QuArK users, because A) they work better than id's original releases,
- and B) it is a MUCH smaller package to download if all you want to do is
- compile Quake2 levels.
